So my brother’s friend passed away last night and the news was shocking. I always hear on the news how a family loses their daughter to a drunk driving accident or a son loses his father to murderer but I didn’t really think much of it. Now that someone, who lived within a few miles of me and was close friends with my brother has died, it makes me realize how small the world really is and how life can slip out of your hands so easily, like sand through your fingers.
I don’t want to be depressing or anything but I just want to let all of those who read this know how valuable life is. You shouldn’t waste it on mindless things and every decision you make should be one that you won’t regret. Show everyone your love and if you’re currently unhappy with something in your life, then change it. Don’t just sit around telling other people how your life sucks or how you’re too ugly/skinny/fat/etc. You can change your life and make it count. Just never lose hope. You only live once.
